THE IMAGINARIUM PRESENTS: RE-EMERGENCE. 6-7pm: Home of all things thinky-talky at Shambala, The Imaginarium is here to deliver wise words and excellent discussion, straight into your living room. Join speakers Ed Gillespie (Jon Richardson & The Futurenauts, Greenpeace), Mya-Rose ‘Bird Girl’ Craig (Greenpeace, Black2Nature) and Cleo Lake (Bristol Green Councillor) as they dissect the deep societal shifts that the pandemic has wrought, what this moment means and how we rebuild something better.

ALICE PHOEBE LOU: 7-8pm: Berlin-based South African singer songwriter Alice Phoebe Lou puts storytelling first in her pared–back bluesy folk. Inspired by her landing in Europe, her music is indebted to a creative community in Germany that is at once fiercely independent and collaborative at heart. Settle back for music flecked with jazz, sleazy brass flourishes, beatnik beats, vagabond spirit and sleepy soprano vocals.

PHANTOM LAUNDRY PRESENTS: DIZRAELI & FRIENDS: 8-8:45pm: Shambala legend and all round good egg, Dizraeli will be joined by his pals Vanessa Kisuule, Fran & Flora and DJ Dad, for tunes, words and dreamy improvised jam session goodness.   -Dizraeli

SONA JOBARTEH: A real treat to close things down and end the Shambala digital weekend in serious style. We’re humbled to present a pioneering musical icon born to a Griot family from the Gambia which includes Toumani Diabaté. She is the first woman from this tradition to take the Kora to the global stage. A composer, singer, and activist, Sona draws on her rich cultural heritage positioning herself a new kind of Griot for a new generation of West Africians.  Her collaborations include Damon Albarn and Oumou Sangaré.
